PRESIDENTIAL PRONOUNCEMENTS

Reagan: "There you go again."

READER SURVEY: Every Presidential administration is remembered for a particular political slogan that characterizes the attitude of the person in the Oval Office. Eisenhower said. “Beware of the military industrial complex.” Kennedy said “Don’t ask what your country can do for you; ask what you can do for your country.” Nixon said, “I am not a crook.” Ford said “Whip inflation now.” Carter “lusted in his heart." Reagan said "There you go again.” Bush Senior had everybody reading his lips on taxes. Clinton “never had sex with that woman.” Bush Junior said “mission accomplished.” This guy in the White House now, supposedly a great orator, has said nothing of note – and will go down in history as never letting a good crisis go to waste. Disagree? E-mail us one pharse that summarizes Obama’s leadership – if you can come up with a few well-chosen words – “give me all of your money, you idiots.”

From Bobby Lee in Lubbock, Texas: “Bend over, you’re next!”

From Eileen in Washington, D.C.: “Let me be clear about this…” (O's best sans teleprompter).
